Corruption!!

** I went to update one of the links in KinHelp's Links Section, and found an error message. When I checked with our webmistress, she replied that the database had become corrupted!  This may have happened during the recent transfer of all the KinHelp pages to a new server.

Anyway, she hopes to restore the Links Section at the weekend, using a backup copy of the website, so please wait until next week to use our links.

The above piece is well out of date, having been corrected over a year ago; but we had a similar occurrence early this year -when we lost KinHelp for a few days during another transfer to an upgraded server. The problem lasted a week or so, as we had to shift everything back to the older server, sort out the cause of the problem, than re-transfer all the files again!
Let's hope that the experience will lead to a perfect transfer the next time an upgrade is available.
